1 · Word Swap
Read your language, learn the new one.
A few everyday words in a paragraph turn into the language you are learning. Click one to see if you know it. Words you already know stay as they were.
How it works in the extension: Turn on Word Swap in the popup, hover a paragraph, click the language button beside it.
This preview sends only the text you ask about to the model behind this site. The extension does not use this site.
2 · Dictionary
Any word, explained where you found it.
The card explains the word where it sits, with a German example you can hear.
How it works in the extension: Hold D and click a word.
3 · Quiz
Practise the word right away.
Translate one short sentence that uses the word. You see only the mistakes, or a correct German sentence.
How it works in the extension: On the word card, choose Quiz me.
4 · Writing
Fix what you write, keep your voice.
Improve fixes grammar and leaves a sentence that is already right alone.
How it works in the extension: Select text in any field, then pick an action in the toolbar.
5 · Translate
Translate without leaving the page.
The other language appears under the paragraph. A two-pane panel can stay open beside the page.
How it works in the extension: Select text, then hold ⌘+Option (Ctrl+Alt) and click. Or open the side panel.
6 · Review
Words come back when you're about to forget them.
Words you save stay on this device. Grade each one. Again shows it now. Easy waits longer.
How it works in the extension: Due words show in the popup; study them on the Review page.
7 · Your AI
Your model, your two languages.
Choose a model on your own computer, such as Ollama, or a cloud endpoint. More than 30 languages are included, and every prompt can be edited.
How it works in the extension: In Settings, enter your API address, optional key, and model.
8 · Privacy
No server. No account. Your endpoint.
- Text is sent only when you ask, and only to the endpoint you choose.
- Word Swap sends only the paragraph you click.
- Saved words and review history stay on your device.
- Some browser voices are online. There is no analytics.
